Last month, we launched our revamped Opportunities and Outcomes Dashboard on EV Hub, making it easier than ever to stay up to date on state activity in transportation electrification. This updated tool offers an accessible, interactive way to track both opportunities—including Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and public comment openings—and award outcomes from competitive and non-competitive programs. Our team tracks opportunities and outcomes from all 50 states plus the District of Columbia, bringing together data from over 100 public agencies. Each week, we update the dashboard with the latest from states on EV adoption, fleet deployment, charging infrastructure, and more, giving you a clearer picture of how transportation electrification is advancing nationwide.
Opportunities

The Opportunities tab highlights state requests and currently available funding for transportation electrification projects. Explore the visuals to quickly compare across geographies, request types, and target uses, and use the filters to narrow results by funding program or state agency. Additionally, expand the yellow bar on the right-hand side to see an expanded range of available filters.
Right now, 14 states have active requests, offering $419 million in funding for EV charging, medium- and heavy-duty (MD/HD), and general transportation electrification projects. Browse open requests from Michigan, New York, or Wisconsin under the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) formula program or delve into state-specific initiatives such as Massachusetts’s Medium- and Heavy-Duty Vehicles Charging Hubs Program. The dashboard also allows you to view closed opportunities dating back to 2017 by toggling the Request Status filter, offering a broader look of how state priorities have evolved over time.
Outcomes

The Outcomes tab illustrates how state-issued requests translate into funding commitments. Explore awards by funding source, project category, fuel type, and more, with filters that make it easy to compare across programs or focus in on specific states. With $36 billion awarded to an estimated 3,000 projects since 2015, the data reveals how funding awards have changed over time; a notable spike in 2022 aligns with major investments at the federal level through the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and the Inflation Reduction Act.
The Funding Details table allows you to explore awards by project recipient and funding amount, providing a more granular look at how funding supports real-world deployment. With recent examples including NEVI awards in Ohio and New York, and awards from Washington’s Electric Vehicle Charging Program, the Outcomes tab provides insight into how transportation electrification programs are being implemented nationwide.
