Driving Toward Seamless Public EV Charging

To support widespread EV adoption, public charging must be as easy and reliable as finding a gas station, especially for drivers without home charging access. A Harvard-MIT team is working with stakeholders to improve public charging by sharing real-time charger data, guiding smart grid and zoning investments, and designing rates that align with renewable energy. These efforts aim to remove barriers, accelerate EV adoption, and deliver climate benefits.
