The Iowa Department of Transportation (DOT) is seeking public comment on their VW Draft Mitigation Plan. The plan summarizes the state’s allocation of nearly $21 Million as follows:

| Zero Emission Vehicle (ZEV) Supply Equipment | 15% |
| Freight Trucks and Port Drayage Trucks | 15% |
| Diesel Emission Reduction Act (DERA) Grant Program | 15% |
| Non-Road Transport and Equipment | 10% |
The Iowa DOT will accept written comments on the plan until May 25, 2018. Comments may be submitted through the Iowa DOT website here.
