Tennessee Tech University and Tennessee Clean Fuels will host a webinar on February 18 at 1:00 PM Central to highlight the lessons learned from the ongoing U.S. Department of Energy-funded Medium Duty eTruck Pilot Project.
This project serves as a proof-of-concept implementation strategy to support knowledge-building, outreach, and education on all-electric medium-duty truck technology for various applications. Insights gained from this project complement the U.S. DOE Vehicle Technologies Office’s existing electric vehicle data set with detailed truck fleet operation and usage data dedicated specifically to the challenges and needs associated with medium-duty trucking fleets.
This webinar will cover the project details, as well as the findings, challenges, and successes identified by participating fleets. Attendees will hear firsthand accounts of the Xos FXSV01 Step Van, an all-electric, medium-duty vehicle optimal for first- and last-mile delivery use cases.
