SUMMARY:Alternative Fuel Resources and Funding for Medium- and Heavy-Duty Fleets
DESCRIPTION:Following the recent release of funding under the State of Tennessee’s Medium- and Heavy-Duty Vehicles Grant Program\, join Tennessee Clean Fuels for an informational webinar highlighting tools\, resources\, benefits\, and Tennessee success stories relating to medium- and heavy-duty fleet transitions to use of alternative fuels including electric vehicles\, hybrids\, compressed natural gas\, and propane. Both public and private truck\, school and transit bus\, shuttle bus\, and emergency responder fleets will have the opportunity to hear about how they can make the transition and take advantage of the now-open Medium- and Heavy-Duty Vehicles Grant Program\, applications for which are due June 13. The webinar will also highlight technologies currently available on the market and other potential incentives for making the transition. \n  \nAttendees will also be given the opportunity for Q&A with subject matter experts and will have access to continued technical assistance following the webinar from Tennessee Clean Fuels staff.

SUMMARY:Medium Duty e-Truck Informational Webinar
DESCRIPTION:Tennessee Tech University and Tennessee Clean Fuels will host a webinar on February 18 at 1:00 PM Central to highlight the lessons learned from the ongoing U.S. Department of Energy-funded Medium Duty eTruck Pilot Project. \nThis project serves as a proof-of-concept implementation strategy to support knowledge-building\, outreach\, and education on all-electric medium-duty truck technology for various applications. Insights gained from this project complement the U.S. DOE Vehicle Technologies Office’s existing electric vehicle data set with detailed truck fleet operation and usage data dedicated specifically to the challenges and needs associated with medium-duty trucking fleets. \nThis webinar will cover the project details\, as well as the findings\, challenges\, and successes identified by participating fleets.
