DESCRIPTION:On Thursday\, January 16\, 2025 at 1:00 PM ET\, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and U.S. Department of the Treasury (Treasury) will be co-hosting a webinar directed towards funding recipients under EPA’s Clean School Bus and Clean Heavy-Duty Vehicles programs. \n  \nThe webinar will provide an overview of federal tax credits that may be applicable to purchasers of zero-emission medium- and heavy-duty vehicles\, as well as electric vehicle supply equipment. Treasury will discuss their new elective pay and transferability mechanisms for claiming tax credits and provide updated guidance on the Qualified Commercial Clean Vehicles Credit (45W) and the Alternative Fuel Vehicle Refueling Property Credit (30C)\, including ‘eligible property’ under 30C.
