On June 16, 2020, Xcel Energy proposed new investments in transportation electrification as a part of their COVID-19 pandemic recovery plan. The proposal includes more than $150 million in investment supporting EV programs. The program includes a public charging program, expansion of an existing fleet EV service program (no incremental costs), rebates for transit buses and private light-duty vehicles, and an acceleration of the Company’s own fleet electrification.
