On June 4, 2019, the commission approved portions of Delmarva Power’s PIV Program to invest in a range of programs targeting transportation electrification. This includes four utility-owned public chargers (two DCFC and two Level 2) that will be supplied by 100% renewable energy. In addition, the commission approved an EV time-of-use rate for EVSEs on a second meter. The settlement the commission approved removed all programs that provided subsidies for EVSE or EVs for customers. The final order also established a working group to assess the performance of these programs to inform future efforts in the state’s transportation electrification efforts.
